Fun Activities for Caregivers and Seniors in Encino

Seniors and the elderly understand that many aspects of life are best when shared.  Whether it is a recipe that was passed down from previous generations, opinions about certain topics, or even just sharing time to help others, sharing leads to a more fulfilling life.  Have a fun dinner party with friends and family where recipes and cooking methods are shared. Discovering new ways to cook can open up many eyes.  Since many seniors and elderly are retired, why not consider volunteering the time to help others? Find something that you are passionate about, such as helping children, serving meals at the local food bank, or donating time to local animal shelters. Finally, if the elderly enjoys reading, why not consider joining a book club to share thoughts and opinions about literature.
